Camping Reservations Background Information

  • When Can You Start Making Current Year Campsite/Berth Reservations? Spruce Point Park Campground & Marina accepts current year camping site/lot reservations starting January 1st of the current year, through to mid-September.  Our Campground does not accept 'next year' or future bookings for the following year before January 1st.

  • Do You Want To 'Choose' A Specific Camping Site Lot?  Spruce Point Park will allow overnight campground guest to choose their campground lot when the guest reserves a campsite for longer than a 3 day stay.  To do so, a 3-day non-refundable deposit is required.

  • Always Striving To Meet Campground Reservation Requests: When you call to make a campground or marina reservation, our Reservation staff will ask you a series of questions; from the number of vehicles you plan on bringing with you, if you will be setting up any tents on the camping lot, what size of RV / Motor Home you are traveling in, does the RV have pull-outs, and a few other questions about your planned stay at our park.  This information is used to place you and your guests at the best camping site we have available for the dates you will be staying.   You may  suggest a specific campsite lot that you would prefer to stay at, but it does not guarantee your chosen lot, and guests should only do so if you are familiar with the campsite lots from previously camping in our Park. As our site map was updated and changed in 2011. Reservation requests are not a guarantee that a reservation will have  access the requested campsite lot.  Typically early in the season, and later in the season the odds of being able to suggest a specific lot, and actually end up with the chosen camp location will increase slightly.  Our Reservation & Gatehouse staff do their best in trying to accommodate our overnight guests requests, but due to the changing guest occupancy of the campground, not every reservation request for specific camping sites parameters can be assured.

  • CAMPING RESERVATION DEPOSIT & CANCELLATION POLICY:
All reservations require  a deposit equal to the value of one day's stay per camping site reserved .  Reservation deposits are only refunded when seven (7) days or more notices is received by Spruce Point Park.  Any attempts to cancel reservations with less than seven (7) notice prior to check-in date results in loss of deposit  for each camping site reserved.

  • Want a Campsite Lot with Electricity (Powered Lot):  Spruce Point Park is in the process of expanding our camping site that come with electricity utility services. With a limited number of camping sites/lots with electricity / power service (15 or 30 amp services),  so if you would like power on your camping site, you are recommended to make your reservation as early as possible in the year;  January, February, March...  As those camping sites with electricity service go very quickly.

  • Pet Friendly - Pets On Leashes - Campground Policy: Spruce Point Park Campground is PET Friendly; but all pets must be kept on leash, at all times when being walked in the Park. If your pet roams, or bothers other non-pet loving campground guests, you will be asked to keep your pet on a parameter leash within your own campsite.
