Gatehouse - Campsite Check-ins & Reservations

Campground Gatehouse at Spruce Point Park, Alberta

Spruce Point Park Gatehouse

All new arrivals to the Park that plan on spending the night in our campground must check-in with the Park's Gatehouse.   Advance reservations and walk-in traffic from the highway are equally welcome at our Park's campground. Nobody can enter into the campground section of the Park without the gatehouse employee registering overnight camping site guests, camp site visitors,  All campground day-visitors and overnight guests are provided 'rear-view mirror hangers' to place in their vehicle's window.  This helps Park Security identify who owns a vehicle within the campground area of the Park, and whether they are a visitor for the day or an overnight guest, and can tell which camping site the vehicle is registered to.

Gatehouse employees are also familiar with all Park Services and provide information services about the park to visitors and guests.   Overnight guests receive a copy of the Park Rules when they check-in. can purchase firewood by the wheel barrel full for a small fee, or fill up a water jug with water by asking the Gatehouse employees to access the water tap outside.  The daily weather forecast is posted at the Gatehouse every morning, helping our guests plan their day; whether they are fishing, or just enjoying the beach and soaking up the sunshine.

You can call the Gatehouse and Reservation staff at:

1-780-775-2117

You may find that the line is busy, this means that our Reservation staff are already on the phone with a family or group, helping them arrange their campsite reservation.
